The feds don’t need to own a wallet provider to spy on lightning they just have to run enuff nodes to filter the traffic just like they do with tor.
The fed could be running most of the lightning nodes & we won’t know the difference right?
Although it wouldn’t be far fetched from what they live done in the past.
It would probably be more of something like a hhw/signing device product that guarantees privacy and military grade encryption but you can’t the way how it works.
