I had no idea Bruce Cockburn had this song... And as a Canadian who was forcefed Canadian Content (per govt regulation of the airwaves under the CRTC and CanCon regulations) this is surprising.  This was released in 1986 when MuchMusic (Canadian MTV) should have been playing it, but instead they pushed his "if a tree falls" (1988) enviro activist song. 

Now, I was just talking with my son yesterday on Colonialism vs Globalism (same thing, really, just with advanced tech and more efficient/less mess for the perpetrators) and will have to share this with him.  Thanks!
