So I went out searching for some good quality super soakers and found due to legal/patent issues, the pressurized super soakers we grew up with in the 90’s are no longer on the market. In my mind this simply will not do and thus began my hunt… Meet the Larami CPS 2000. It was made for exactly one year in 1997 before it was discontinued for failure to meet federal safety guidelines. Kids were getting fucked up because of this thing. Back in 1997 they were “too expensive” and I couldn’t get my mom to buy me one. I remember this one kid in the neighborhood had one and I was insanely jealous. Today I finally acquired my own cps 2000 on eBay, cost me $300 😂. Money well spent. I had one back in the day; it might be somewhere in my parents house attic. Next time I visit them, I'll look for it. If I find it, I'll let you know. The kids need to be able to defend themselves against that beast! Us 90's kids had a much healthier lifestyle. We did play Super Nintendo, but the games had an actual ending. We spent most of the summer outside competing and doing dumb things with the neighborhood kids, like using these super soakers to shoot bee hives 😂
