yes but its all easier to filter out here, more control.
so someone can create an custom experience much easier than with main stream social media which includes ads, promoted content, more steps to block, etc.
Nostr is also less of a honeypot for scammers as most users her post much less personal or identifiable information than on mainstream social media.
Thirdly, joining nostr is not really the normal way of signing up for an account on mainstream websites. Most normies and normie scammers wont bother going through a short process that is different from what they are used to.
Im not saying none of them wont, but it decreases the percentage of those types of npubs.
