The incident took place late on Friday night in Vancouver in British Columbia, where the victim Chirag Antil lived and worked. Chirag had recently completed his MBA and was on a work visa. Chirag's brother, Romit Antil, said that after eating food, Chirag got into his car to go somewhere when he was shot dead. The family received a phone call from Canadian police informing them of the incident. The Vancouver Police Department is currently investigating the case, and no arrests have been made yet. The family is seeking assistance from the Indian embassy and the Government of India to bring Chirag's body back to India.
