I find that nearly unbelievable based on what I see every day on that feed but I'm sure if that was the case you'd be the first to call it out 😂 Even still it's all a self reinforcing feedback loop, from the list of auto-follows during their onboarding, to the suggested accounts in search dialog, to the "nostr highlights" feed, to the trending feed. It does damage to their brand and is a super cringe feature in an otherwise relatively decent client.
