One thing that really frustrates me about the medical field is how they have all these licenses and requirements for who can practice medicine. I heard a story about a guy that was doing surgeries without a license. He was really damn good. He did hundreds of surgeries for a very cheap price and no one ever complained. Of course, when government found out, he got in big trouble. But people will say that these licenses and requirements protect us…. not really. What they do is funnel all medical practice standards toward an “authority” that decides how to train their doctors (e.g. big pharma). That authority is usually in bed with the government because it’s profitable to use violence to force people to do what you want. Now instead of people going to doctors based on their reputation, skill, and experience, they go to a quack with a license that gives you a pill for every problem that makes you more sick. People also believe that without a license, the doctor is not liable for his practice. But doctors with licenses administer countless vaccines and drugs that injure and kill people without any consequences. Why? Because the state has granted immunity to those practicing by their standards which are not always objectively correct. You are not any safer dealing with a doctor that has a license. Healthcare would be more effective and affordable without government.
