For those of us who keep kosher, the mantra has always been "fake meat, real cheese," because the former is less revolting (or can be better rationalized*) than the latter.  Anything that tips the scales in the other direction would be what we call a "neis nigla" - an open miracle.

*That is, comes in varieties that are obviously not meat, but aren't entirely repulsive for what they are.
