i dont like the word based...
That word gained popularity through 4chan where its used either in a ironic or acknowledging way, often in the context of shitposts of alt-right. Nowdays, which surprises me a little, it is also used in a good context. 

So if someone tells you, your opinion is based, it can have basically 4 different meanings:
- A supports the bad opinion of B
- A supports the good opinion of B
- A ironically supports the bad opinion of B
- A ironically supports the good opinion of B

So, imho using this word is basically the definition of dogwhistling. 

Every time i watch videos or have conversations with people and this word is used i usually look like this: :blobcatglaresad:
