Thank you, for sharing your perspective and worldview and asking questions. I live in a Global Village. I am also nomadic which means the people around me are either not here or they are transient. The people I care about I connect with through pixelated forms of communication. Also, you seem to define digital world in pixelated form.. but the way I've seen reality through quantum lens it is all pretty pixelated.
Anyways, I get a defeatist attitude from your comment not that kine wasn't. I do believe we can do a lot about the state of the world and I also believe we have influence even when interacting through screens and digital devices. We are still connecting, we are still interacting and in communion with life.
