HPV is a sexually transmitted disease.  The HPV Vaccine is on the CDC vaccine schedule for children beginning at 9 years old.  We rejected this particular vaccine for our kids, since the disease is so easily avoided.  The sheer number and frequency of recommended vaccines is insane.
