 Movies about the Devil and Hell used to be interesting. After reading the bible, you realize that the Devil has nothing to do with hell and that he is bound to Earth. Where did Hollywood come up with Satan ruling in hell ?

 Oh my nigga, let me show you all the versus to support it.

Background:
1. The Bible barely mentions hell or Lucifer at all
2. In Revelation, Lucifer is bound to hell for 1000 years in a cage....IF he ruled hell, that would not be a punishment lo
3. No verses to support  any Hollywood-type Satan


And now for the verses:


1. Job 1 shows Satan prowling the Earth up to no good
2. Satan is the ruler of this world. (John 14:23–31)
3. Satan does not reside or rule hell, God controls it. It's the land of the dead. In Revelation, Satan is thrown into hell, the lake of fire, when his ass is kicked. Rev 12:7, Rev 20:7
4. Jesus briefly visited Hell before he resurrected. The KJV Bible uses the word Hell which is important and the terrible NIV translation uses the word dead or hades. Psalms 16:10, Acts 2:14-36, Isaiah14:12-15,
