The audience will be very tech-savy (70-80% developers). I expect many attendees who attend every year (and with the first edition in 2000, I expect a lot of them).

Having that in my mind I also expect that many of them will be very skeptical when seeing a new name or stand like Nostr. Of maybe some of them already heard something about Nostr and it's related to Bitcoin. So also assumptions will be there we need to manage.
Being there with a stand and promoting Nostr will be somewhat of a push to the audience, I always prefer to pull things to people ;) We need have a open-mind to everyone and listen to their questions and stories. I hope that many likewise open-minded people will visit us so we can explain what Nostr can mean for them as a protocol. Note to myself: always keep in mind that FOSS is a about freedom (there is a difference between FOSS and open-source software) and Nostr can really be a libre (freedom) tool for many purposes. Values around digital freedoms is what we all should have in common. Other stands at FOSDEM that have my particular interest: Mastodon, Drupal, UBports (Ubuntu Community), Meshtastic, Matrix.org foundation and Wireguard.
