Has anyone sent sats to a non-nostr lightning affiliated wallet from primal? The number selection only shows up when you try and send to a nostr user. When you paste in a lightning address and or scan the QR code. Am I doing something wrong or is primal sending directly to wallets beyond nostr just broken? @miljan ?
I just tested it and it worked to pay a btcpayserver generated qr code.
The ui wont let me put in a number for the amount
Ahh...ok... I'll go play.
I manually entered in an external lightning address and then a new keyboard screen popped up and I entered the amount and it sent it.
Hey @rabble we totally support non-Nostr wallet transactions. We support both on-chain and lightning transactions. You can either scan codes from these wallets, or if you prefer sending to an address, we have a “send address” field after pressing “send” from the wallet. Please let us know if you have any other questions !
Hey @rabble, what Marko said above is correct: you can pay lightning invoices or send to any lightning address using Primal Wallet. HOWEVER, we do have a known bug in our iOS app where if you scan a lightning invoice of zero sats, the app doesn't give you an option to enter the amount. I presume this is what you ran into. Should be fixed in the next public build.
so here's the problem: the field itself is picky in format, if theres a valid lightning address, ONLY then does the button "Next" show up, however clicking next results in error invalid lightning address. the receiving wallet also has a reusable lightning address which is unacceptable format with primal.
also just tried creating an invoice instead but same error after clicking next
You are not wrong
