He ran a small army of sockpuppets, who attacked me on The n-Category Cafe back when I was blogging about this.  Eventually a lawyer at UCR said it would be best to get rid of my articles.  And eventually the British court system took him down and Elsevier kicked him out as editor of Chaos, Fractals and Solitons.   But he's still active.  This website keeps track of him:
