As a technical writer, I agree. While some Nostr apps have better onboarding than others, the whole zapping setup, connecting wallets, etc., is still troublesome enough that I don't want to want mess with it ever again.
At least for now.
I have things sorted, but I don't trust myself to not screw it up again in the future.
It not only needs to be very simple, but understandable. All the "gotchas" need to be explained up front and what they mean, also in simple language so a person can decide from the beginning what they want to spend, how much, what it might mean for their taxing jurisdiction, whether to publish with their real name and face or not, etc.
While there's some good documentation so far, it's still not quite easy enough to navigate and to operate in when using it regularly. I hope that improves.
