how thick is your wire? 

pro quality dremel or air powered die grinder (something that can use a 1/4 inch collet or an adjustable chuck) should be able to zip through them pretty fast

i think my best suggestion for you is get a good flex shaft dremel for about $1-200, and put a HSS slitting saw on it (harbor freight or amazon)
