They got him on the wrong charges, yes, but why reverse it? Again it's like Roe v Wade. All you're saying is that it's weak and susceptible to being reversed. But they did it specifically because he deserves it. Right and wrong from a true justice standpoint does not always match what's on the books. The courts are bureaucratic. If an unconvicted rapist got the maximum sentence for a bar fight, I would not fight to reverse it on the principle that the books have to always be right.
