Never got around to a proper #nostr #introduction #event. It seems some do this multiple times to chase #zaps or play with alt accounts, but that's not my scene. 

Here's the deal:

My Journey: 

From the early days of ASIC #BTC mining to navigating the turbulent seas of professional services, from developer evangelism to the trials of single fatherhood, and getting wrecked over and over and over, my path has been varied and rich.

#Bitcoin Chronicles: I've seen it all - losing 50M #sats in the #MTGOX debacle (not worth claiming at the time), gifting friends 5M sats to spark their #Bitcoin interest back when #Coinbase was BTC-exclusive, and even buying a bed on Overstock with #sats - the amount? Let's not go there. Celsius? - Check, BlockFi? - yep, FTX? - Dodged it.

I've lived the #Bitcoin history in real time: been through faucets, the #blockwars, every split you can name. Mined #ETH until the very end, not out of faith, but utility. Kept a few S9s humming, though not like the old days. I watched #LTC, #NMC, #DVC, #ETH and the explosion of the literal chaos we see out there today. I got my family into Bitcoin and mining. 5 family members and a few close friends are early Bitcoiners. Owned giga-hashes back when CEX.io offered them, through halving and beyond, down to the rug pull. I own Antminer U1s, S1s, S2s, S3s, S5s, S9s and some other ones that I cannot recall the models. We mined triple digits of coins in total, all are now behind other people's keys. 

Leverage Lessons: 2021 taught me about leverage the hard way. Lost everything, including family investments from the era when 25 BTC blocks were a pool's prize. We were all wrecked due to our #Nexo leverage. 

I have earned my scars in more ways than you might want to imagine. My experiences are the textbook definition of bitcoin's ups and downs.

When it comes to why I am on #nostr, I am here for the same reason every one is here. We are early adopters, we have similar stories. Freedom of expression, #Zaps? Absolutely electrifying, but they're not our sole reason for being here, though they're part of the allure. It is a culture, it is a revolution of sovereignty. It is a renaissance of human thinking. 

I've tasted the limits of bans on Facebook, felt the shadow of censorship for memes or thoughts. Twitter became my bridge between LinkedIn and Facebook for years, yet here on #nostr, I feel most at home. I have enjoyed post-Musk Twitter, but it is not #nostr.

I also have enjoyed many shows by  nostr:npub1gu47n7fxfm4py48jktmu6tdqcvva4e87fntynuzzf62zxnw2e7tsc6907g and  nostr:npub13tm98cj56xvugywflf89c4d3cp23h5wdegm2rjdz32npkzysetkskynkcs on  nostr:npub1vzjukpr2vrxqg2m9q3a996gpzx8qktg82vnl9jlxp7a9yawnwxfsqnx9gc, but they are somewhat new here too.

I am a #gigachad on  nostr:npub1ve8qwrlztemdmnh62jffcr0y9m9dpqgqjdg8ufx7gc3qw5wdk74qyv9ka6 and I have been to #Bitcoin Meetups as early as 2012. I have personally #orangepilled lots of people around the globe, all before the phase "orange pilling" existed. 

I wrote some articles on LinkedIn about BTC years ago and I did research for my company on supply chain uses for blockchain along with PoC work with the development teams.

I am a #noderunner and I am working my way up to opening and managing a #lightningnode. I am building a store, considering a #BTC only payment system. I registered a few domains for #BTC sites, #nostr projects, and #podcasting. I am working on trying to be the change I want to see in the world.

I am a community notes editor on X and would like to potentially see some variation on here, but I am more bullish on #nostr, in general. I also realize that there is a network effect we need on #nostr, but have considered "cutting the cord" on other portals. I am torn for now, even though #nostr is my "daily driver", fountain is too. 

I left my corporate job in 2018 and I am trying to navigate to a brighter future through projects of my own doing vs doing the will of others. Life is throwing a lot of challenges, but I am doing my best to overcome it and push to a brighter future for myself and others. 

I try to toy around with AI, keep up with sovereign tech, and of course, stay tuned to #bitcoin, #lightning, and #nostr advancements. 

This is me, in the world of decentralized networks, where the culture is as valuable as #sats and time is the most precious commodity we have. 

The irony of the universe is that when I should have my future secured by now, I am fighting to build a position for many reasons, but not limited to just poor choices, AFK life has been coming at me just as hard. I will prevail, I have the will, I know the way, I will see you there. 🎯
