I see people are already coming out of the woodwork to say the Armenians are just 'voluntarily' leaving. This is exactly the narrative that was used to retrospectively justify genocidal expulsions of Palestinians, Cypriots and Bosnians, to name just a few recent examples.

If you shoot a gun in a crowded theater and people start to run for the exits you don't get to say all those killed in the crush were acting of their own volition.
