well, i can relate to the grant project writing issue, i seem to be fairly good at it, won the one i'm working on now in the last stages (and running over time)
i have no idea if an AI can do this, but i can say that AI text manglers seem to be trained on marketing copy, i mean, it's so droll how repetitive it is i instantly know if i see 4 paragraphs i can almost tell you before reading the whole thing what phrase each paragraph will start with, that's how formulaic the output is
i managed to do ok without this, and i think that probably grant assessment boards are probably used to being spammed to hell with chatGPT generated same same same same and also can see the difference and probably it may actually benefit you now to write it yourself and deliberately make sure you don't use a formula... and maybe it helps also to have a little subtle humor in the text in places sometimes, i think that the assessors glaze over at the yawn same same oh yet another moron who has no idea pretending he has an idea
