As an interpreter, other people's words and ideas have passed through my hands for the Deaf, and past by my lips for the Hearing.

Through me, others lie, manipulate, mourn, joke, laugh, flirt, and fight.

I've done this as a neutral actor - my own emotions & thoughts are sublimated so that others' thoughts/ideas are seen, are heard - they enter the realm of the Real; giving people agency.

Censorship is anethma to free people.

To censor language is to censor the mind.

To censor math is to censor a priori knowledge.

And so,
We're not asking permission.

We're taking our place.
