I am not sure this is entirely correct. I have been thinking about the "Status" argument, which is the whole reason social media is in its current state. However, the value-for-value model changes this and makes it more wholesome. Agreed, it's not about money, and that is a bad look, but the moment you exchange a valuable good for a valuable thought, you are adding status and reducing, at least in part, the nonsense of empty thinking. In that sense, I would not be quick to think you have missed the mark but more inclined to think you are on the right path.
