I finished my dry fast yesterday night, I forgot to mention I did a 24 hour water fast right before my 24 hour dry fast.
My weight before my water fast was 70.6kg and after my dry fast I weighed 68.4kg. My ketones were at 2.2mmol/L, the highest I've ever had them, not that I recommend testing them while doing a keto diet or fasting.
The recommendation I've seen is to break a dry fast with water for 24 hours before eating food, I decided to yolo and eat minced beef and chicharron, I drank only water. This morning my weight was 69.5kg.
During my dry fast I felt hyperalert but started developing a very mild headache near the end. There was a short period during the afternoon where my energy went down, so I took a 20 minute nap and felt hyperalert right after.
Conclusion: Totally doable, probably easier if already fat adapted and not dependant on coffee. I will try a 3 day dry fast one day.
