In 2014 I was shown the “future” by this man who had just been to money 2020 in Vegas, previously he had a failed data cable venture with Kim Dotcom (I don’t like Kim or his dumb games)
Anyway, the future was a place where everything was surveilled, you walk into the store and it recognises you then looks up your likes on Facebook etc so it can nudge you into buying things it thinks you like, because you are lazy. And you can’t think for yourself. I thought that guy was a dick, and what he was showing us looked like hell.
Slowly that disruptive date mining tech has been placed in stores in my country without anyone being aware. They don’t notify us. It totally falls into the realm of forced servitude. I think we are owed a retrospective piece of that data pie, as the pie would not exits without us. it should also fuck off, I don’t want to be mined for data in an electronic cave with a concrete jungle for a view.
