I'm pretty sure you just described paid torrent sites where you pay in bitcoin. Just with nostr profiles attached. Cool idea, but using this tech for this purpose is not going to add to its legitimacy. It would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Another route would be to integrate Nostr into ipfs for multimedia content delivery. Ipfs doesn't have the same negative reputation as torrents, but would yield the same results. A decentralized content delivery network powered by nostr users.

It would also allow for independently self hosted and mirrored ipfs + nostr integrated websites. Which would appeal to the more serious content creators and production houses. Which could follow a series of design templates and optimized video compression presets. This would help standardize this new ecosystem for optimal content delivery. 

Its funny after thinking about this for a little bit. I think I am going to start offering FOSS innovation consultations on Nostr. I used to give many executive level consultations for brainstorming new innovations back when I had my own businesses before the plandemic. I'm giving away too much value to still have to be struggling financially from hyper inflation.
