Pocuter's Spectra smartwatch is a newly designed wearable device that prioritizes repairability and hackability, making it distinct from other wearables like the Apple Watch. The device features an easily accessible design with just seven Phillips head screws holding it together, allowing for effortless disassembly and repair. Powered by an Espressif ESP32-S3 processor, the Spectra includes a range of features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, fitness tracking, environmental sensors, and a microSD slot for expandable storage.

The wearable runs on a custom operating system called SpectraOS based on JavaScript, which promises features like an interactive debugger, secure application sandboxing, and support for multiple platforms. The company plans to provide replacement options for every single part of the device.

Pocuter's Spectra is available for preorder through a Kickstarter campaign with delivery expected as early as July 2025. Early backers can purchase one at a discounted price.
