A cloudburst followed by flash floods caused widespread destruction in Kullu, Mandi, and Shimla regions of Himachal Pradesh. The cloudburst occurred on the night of July 31 and August 1. The CISF is conducting a massive rescue operation in Samej village. Six bodies have been recovered so far, and 47 people are still missing. Over 60 houses were washed away, and several villages were severely affected by the floods.
