Nah. I decided I didn't want any health issues to creep up on me after my heart surgery. I couldn't control being born with a bad valve. The rest of my heart is in great shape. I decided to run because I want to keep it that way. I run for my wife and kids 🥹 I don't want to leave them just yet.
Fair enough. At least you're motivated by love. I would rather walk or ride a bike. Beating up my body in the army really killed running for me, especially after being forced back to it prematurely after an injury that was the closest I've come to death. (That I know of.)
