Good morning everyone. It has been a rough September so far. I turned in my resignation for the end of the month with the person I subcontract for, and things got petty fast. My wife has almost recovered from one issue and is now ill, and I still see my faint images of my poor pooch that died all around the house and yard, which is kind of nice to be honest. It's going to be alright though. Fall is around the corner. I'm about to check out a new cold storage I picked up, get things ready for the fall garden, I have another job waiting for me that I was ready to roll with and can start Monday if they terminate me Mon before work. I have a lottery miner I picked up from @AVERAGE_GARY that I haven't had time to hook up but it's happening today. I have a fishing trip planned with myself and wife with one of my best friends and his wife weather permitting next week. He's buying BTC now and slowly getting Orange pilled. I'm about to get my garage cleaned up, work on getting two certifications for my career I've wanted for years. I'm also going to be cutting my hours back working from 60-70hrs recently down to around 25-30. This is really going to improve my work-life balance. More importantly even though there will be a steep loss in income upfront it's going to allow me to grow my knowledge base and be more well rounded to help me get to a point where I can provide a service to my local community and the BTC community. The most important thing it's going to allow me, is the ability to spend more time with my family. Everything goes through a death and rebirth. I'm in that cycle right now, and God seems to have blessed me with a portion of the rebirth going into my favorite time of year. Please remember that if you're going through a tough time, that people love you and need you in their lives. Also, remember that even if you don't believe in it, but you believe you are out of options and want to try anything reach out to #prayerchain. Even spin up another npub if you want to. GM and thank you. I have been very blessed through my life. I should have been dead countless times and yet I'm still here. God has looked after me, blessed me, and my family for as long as I can remember. I certainly haven't deserved it most of the time either lol. You have a blessed day.

It's very tough. I think as the father we are always going to be missing out on some because it's our duty and obligation to provide for our families. It's a very difficult balance to get for sure. I'll keep you in my prayers that you can get to a point where you are happier with it. You know the speed they grow up is amazing, and unnerving lol. Raising tiny adults is hard. Are you in a position where you can start your own business? This has increased my time with my kids from before. My business is just going into a transition at this point.

Thank you! I wouldn't say it would be impossible for me to start a business, but I don't have any particular expertise in a product or service area that I can think of providing. I was an aircraft mechanic in the military and just started working in government contract compliance as a civilian with a lot to learn.
