lactose started to make me really sick 2 years ago, I ate bread that has milk in the recipe and today I have heartburn and nausea all day.

Do you know of any plants/foods that can help me with lactose intolerance? I can't stand buying lactase medicines anymore

Fermented foods. I started making eating my own sauerkraut and was drinking milkshakes after a year again.

pasteurization destroys the bacteria and enzymes needed to digest them. great for shelf life... monumental task for the gut.
Woow, I should try this thx
 Maybe look for A2A2 dairy.
Yes, organic A2 milk/butter generally changes the dairy experience for many
I remembered you today when I was at the market, I found some milk like this and decided to buy it. Let's see how my body behaves, thank you
Let us know how it goes!
I don't mean to be flip, but the foods that will help the most with lactose intolerance are the ones that don't make you sick!

Otherwise, two thoughts:
1)There are a lot of stories from folks who always assumed they were lactose intolerant but tried raw milk and have no problems with it at all, so it might not be the lactose that is creating difficulty.

2) Elimination diets can go a long way toward healing the gut and improving our tolerance. Some people who have a very hard time with certain foods find that they can reintroduce them without issues after a while on something like Whole30 or lion diet. Others feel so amazing that they choose to continue eating that way long-term. In any case, the nice thing about this is that you can basically run your own experiment.
I have heard the same about raw milk.
Let us know if you end up trying it and do/don’t have success with raw.
This worked for me. I eliminated dairy until I felt better then reintroduced it in a limited amount. Now I can have dairy without feeling bad.
I should point out that I never got very sick from dairy. More like digestion issues and skin reaction.
I did this for a while, but it seems like every day that passes my intolerance gets worse.
Thank you very much for the tips, I'm going to try a little of everything to get a feel for it
 Followed for being a human
