Let me answer without analysis by common sense and simply ;
" quatum computing would have a huge impact on BTC ( why I leave that to your judgement) but it won't in the next few years.
Fortunately ( unfortunately ) quantum is not available to normal mortals.
A worse possibility may be that some countries may be interested in something similar.
But I won't comment further ( read something about BTC - the basics )
