He’s running a company and has investors and his target audience is on X. Kind of makes sense to stick around and pull them into nostr. 

Leaving a platform voluntarily is fine and may work pulling a few people in if you’re an influencer of some sort - but even then impact is minimal. It takes some serious prominence to pull your audience over single-handily. Most people won’t leave for 1 person - as influencers will find out when they try this.
