the client side is definitely better with something other than Go, i'll give you that

it's a sad state of affairs to be able to bulid such nice fast stuff so quickly for the data and back end and then have to deal with insane oop bullshit to do the rest

it's been one of my wishes for a long time

i built a lot of a GUI library from go, built on top of gio, but that code is so out of date now, and the devs of the UI library have still to make a 1.0 release 7 years later so ... fuck them, and their macintosh dev environment cunty arses
