Africa was one of the first countries to introduce slavery and borders did exist. For example king shaka took over land and owned it. It was pretty well known for rivals not to enter. They also waged wars and killed others to take over land. Borders have been a part of Africa from the beginning of mankind. It used to be tribes, then cultures, then races and then countries. Still today the villages in Africa have their own borders. The borders were only put on the map when the British colonized the land of Africa. It's pretty well known Egypt was a country with borders mapped out long before Britain even became a country.
