our voting has nothing to do with democracy for two reasons:

1 - we voted for the orange guy, they just changed the results at the last moment, the people revolted, they shot the protesters dead and used the military to install their puppet who doesn't even know where he is

2 - if you do get your candidate elected like Meloni in Italy, they will simply pressure that candidate to do a complete 180 on her election promises.  she promised end to Immigration but now immigration is at record high.

democracy would imply the people get what they want, but this doesn't exist anywhere on earth.

the charade of voting is only there to keep hope alive, so that people don't start doing things that actually work.
