🚀 Excited to introduce the SAND stack, the first open decentralized stack built for both humans and machines! 🌍
Integrating 4 amazing technologies—Solid, ActivityPub, Nostr, and Ditto—this stack offers more features for users and an open, permissionless platform for developers to build on. 💻✨

I will need to grok this.

I'm excited to see where this goes!
I'm curious at the inclusion of ActivityPub. What role does it play in the stack, do you think, that Nostr doesn't cover?
This was the first thing that stood out to me too. Maybe it’s acting as a glorified proxy / endpoint for http ?
Also Ditto is an activitypub and nostr bridge in itself. It’s this stack just recursive? 😂
Interesting. How far along is it?
Just started. But solid is working reasonably well, as is SolidOS. Just a few things to tidy up. I've already done login to solid with nostr (schnorr) which I think you've seen.
The solidOS and micro apps are going very well. Here's an example micro app, with data view (think view source on steroids) on the left, and app view on the right. All updating in realtime.
Allowing long-lived data storage on top of everything nostr offers. I'm even using it to host this video:
