A few days ago, Russia made a post referencing the Soviet invasion of Poland on September 17, 1939. In the post, Russia claimed it was a "special operation" to "prevent the genocide of Belarusians and Ukrainians" in Poland.
Just minutes later, the German Foreign Ministry responded to the Russian government's post with a "SERIOUSLY?" and references to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the Nazi-Soviet agreement signed between Hitler and Stalin for the joint invasion of Poland. The Germans also attached a map showing the line Stalin had drawn, marking the extent of Soviet invasion and annexation.
