2024 has been a mission to build a Citadel Mind & Citadel Body.

Re: the mind, I’ve been going through the journey within to discover the source of unhappiness and feeling unfulfilled in my life.

Once you discover the source of happiness, just like the source of time and the source of money, is yourself, things can change quickly.

For those who’ve gone through this process, what’s the next step once you make it through the initial momentum of discovery & implementation of routines and changes in your life?

I’ve noticed remarkable differences in my mindset, my outlook & my relationships.

Re-wiring how your brain works after 40 years of habits and patterns is a difficult process.

Consistency is key for me. When I’m not consistent with my routines, I fall back into old ways of thinking and being which lead to noticeable mindset changes.

I wonder how (or if) it’s possible to get back the exciting & energetic feeling of when I first became aware ~3 months ago.
I did this and I feel like I'm in my late 20's agian, I have so much energy people half my age can't keep up with me 😂🤣
For me it was about learning that we are more than our desires or pain. I know I have a mission. Try not to distract yourself with this inner chase for dopamine, happiness or any kind of external reinforcement. Realising your source of pain is important, however centralising one’s wellbeing around those “sources” will shift our focus to something inherently temporary that we try to carve into eternity.
For me, I don’t really have a source of pain - I just have inefficient processes and a lot of responsibilities…
Understandable, I wish you good luck 🤞
That which you give attention to grows - learning and observing this in everyday life has been very helpful for me.

Purpose has been the most helpful. Having a direction and not giving up, working with others to help get through blockers, and offering value to others.

I'm rereading the book Think and Grow Rich. I read it once in 2020 when I had a 9-5 job and it struck me as fairly obvious. Now I am picking up on deeper meanings and threads between the lines.

Ultimately I don't think any of this that you're talking about - a sovereign mind / body - can be told to anyone; it has to be understood through personal experience.

Good luck and if you ever want to talk, I'm happy to bounce ideas around. Love this stuff.
 Consistency is massive.

It trumps quantity.

For example, for runners, getting out a few times a week (if that’s the goal) is more about getting out a running a bit (say 1KM versus the 5 or 10, etc you normally might run) versus not running at all, to then have a week(s) float by with no running occurring as one settles in a sea of feel like crap excuses.

Applying this type of consistency in various areas is significant.

It’s more about enjoying the journey versus the high of starting (which is amazing) or reaching a summit/end goal.

Small consistent steps matter.
