Running #Linux on my desktop, finally!

Went with #Mint.

No, I am not soliciting opinions on which is the best distro.

Yes, I know you will tell me anyway.
Good choice but the best distro who cares you're on Linux. #winning
 Welcome to #Linux club
Thanks! Now I am going to knuckle down and finally learn to use CLI.
Remember - type ESC and :q to quit Vim
and don't forget, when in doubt, rm -rf *
I just learned about wildcards and the remove command, so I'll be putting that advice straight into the round file.
 Shift zz gang
 you made the right choice!
Well, I originally installed Ubuntu and a good friend was like, "WTF man! Install Mint!"
 You have good friends
100% Mint is the way to go
 Mint is a good choice.
Your distro depends on how deep you are in the Linux rabbit hole and your geek level.

Linux rabbit hole/geek level = distro.

#Linux
I cut my teeth on Mint. I don't use it anymore but I don't have a bad thing to say about it.
Good on you for making the switch.
 To each their own!
 Welcome!

I post small posts on running open source freedom software. How to integrate Linux, DeGoogled/Linux phones and Nextcloud together, and how to synchronize everything between them all.

Integrating Linux, DeGooglef phones and Nextcloud gets you off of Big Tech systems.

I index my Nostr posts here on Nostr so topics can be easily find in the future. If you want to browse freedom software topics, go to my profile, and tap the "Index" link, and then tap an Index Letter in the table.

This only works in Amethyst because it's the only client that shows edits and updates, and Amethyst is the only client that renders markdown.

Here's the Index link:
