I believed that too when I was much younger, but now that I aged and can actually consider my own feelings better, I do see how wrong it is. 
 
It is super complex though and my own basis of arriving to the conclusion is long winded and would fill a book of ranting. 
But, just let me start with: 
Are you thinking of the women only? Or did you consider WHO the 'Johns' are? And what they become. Because that seems to be the issue which a lot of women who think prostitution is ok do not consider. The predators who PAY these women and what it does to them. 
We know it leads to addiction to alcohol and drugs in many of the women... But who are the 'Johns' and how it affects them. 
And remember the men RUN our World wherever you like it or not. 
How many of them are the 'Johns'
