I came to realize that Reiki can easily become a form of energy harvesting for disembodied spirits. Even the used terminology of calling the body "a vessel" is something we should think deeply about. When a person dies naturally, the body releases the soul, like a birth. When the brain wants to shut itself down through suicide, the soul remains wired to bioenergy (chi) through his environment and so are developed holographic forms tied to the psychic energy of living bodies.
All the New Age visualisations people make in order to draw in more and more energy from the environment, with the purpose of controlling natural forces, are very potent handles for these and imply the fact that holographic forms draw in energy from  natural sources. The images that normally drive our psychic world are rooted in the DNA of the body and that of the land. That information, carried by bioenergy, which appears as signaling molecules serving as connectors, create the Field. Which is alive and intelligent. We are psychically used to navigate our life by the symbols of the Logos - that's how the Greeks called this Field. When minds start using bodies as vessels(instruments) to extract life from the environment it brings us to one realization. There is the price to all the abuse of powers and unnatural deaths throughout the history of our species. 
If you think you can command any natural force, spirit or even the energy of your peers (mental or sexual) think again. It just might be that you are the one under command.
