Different people have different priorities. If you're taking care of one segment of all the potential areas of focus in a partnership why would they want to delve into the details of something that you are obviously more informed on and already invested in.
They can use their spare attention span to the areas that you don't care about. That is why you are a team. You don't have to pull them into things they don't care about, just because you do.
If you die they will have no idea how to do the things you do. So maybe you can leave good notes and tutorials behind but otherwise don't waste your time?
