Anyway, either is probably okay, but you won't be able to use more than 3 gigs in it. Even if you put 2 x 2Gb modules, only 3 would work, its chipset just can't use more.
I mean I can use even machine with 512 Mb, but such a machine can hardly be a daily driver.
