There haven't been any security patch updates yet, but I imagine they're busy scaling on the hardware front right now. It's something I expected as wave 1 folks are essentially living on the edge as is with a brand new untested product. Once they have a bit of breathing room, I'm sure we'll see regular updates on the software side of things. 

As far as how long they plan on supporting the DC-1, I have no idea but I'm sure  nostr:npub1a00wj229auzjswlq4s77y4u8eqdx5k9ppatgl8rtv8va65f6mwksum9q3h can shed some more light.
