I just want to put this out there:

I paid attention to the Trump Org civil case yesterday. I feel Trump is using this as a test case for how he can use his legal troubles as a way to campaign.

I don't trust what I read and viewed yesterday. Trump sat and glared in the courtroom, he whisper-yelled and gestured, he blustered and fumed... then walked out of the courtroom and into the loving arms of the media cameras waiting to record his every lying, incredibly wrong, hostile word about the case and blast it to the world.

In the real and rational world (as opposed to the reality-tv world), Trump's legal needs are in direct conflict with his political needs. I am watching and wondering if Trump, first and foremost and expert showman, has found a way to make his legal needs and political needs work together to his benefit.

I ask you to be cautious and take care. I can't say Trump is testing this strategy to see if it will work, but given how he manages the public sphere, has successfully been able to manage the public sphere, to his benefit, I feel strongly the news and media should be wary and suspicious, and use careful judgment in covering his legal proceedings going forward.
