Happy bday #jazz genius Sonny Rollins! On 9/11, I saw some Tribeca seniors being bussed to temp housing on the news. One of them - unrecognized by the reporter! - was Sonny, carrying his instrument case. A kid in the back said "That's the best #sax player in the world, man!"
