Why are young adults still living at home? Hint: It's not just mortgage rates.

I'm beginning to think about going back to full time work, so I'm checking the job boards. Almost every job description wants people on-call. I spoke with a hiring manager recently who told me a job was 6 days/week and mandatory OT. 

Employers need to get their money's worth, and benefits are a major employee cost. Up until recently they've been able to demand long hours. Now, not really.
