A breakthrough in restoring vision for blind individuals! Science Corporation has announced preliminary results from a clinical trial using their Prima eye implant. The device, which resembles a tiny solar panel, is surgically placed under the retina and uses infrared light to stimulate electrical pulses that the brain interprets as images. In the study, 32 participants with advanced age-related macular degeneration (AMD) showed significant improvement in vision acuity, with some even able to read at 20/63 acuity.
