lots of people so easily & so often oversimplify things and make judgments about things as if they’re considering an accurate or a big enough picture.

my take…a story i believe about twitter is that for a long time, it was very simple with (mostly) just character-limited text, which made it so super cool and more pure & required more creativity & wit. 

twitter started as a great & awesome idea imho…extremely low “bandwidth” for instantaneous global communication, useable with the simplest of phones & bare minimum connectivity.

(nice in a way to remember the olden days of yore, lol 🥲)

…🌀… but over many years, lots of different powers & forces came through morphing twitter into a BEAST of its own.

now, though, twitter is no longer in existence.  it met its end.

…& here we are trying to goodly give life to nostr  :)
